Sorry it's been so long since we've posted an update. I promise some pics soon. Until then, here are a few highlights : )
Chloe discovered her belly button, and now anytime you ask her where anything is (nose, mouth, etc) she lifts up her shirt in search of her belly!
She helps get herself dressed now, extends her feet for socks, searches for arm holes in shirts, etc, it's really cute.
Lately she's gotten some practice feeding herself with a spoon, surprisingly she's pretty good at it. Although, at her speed it would take all day to finish a dish of applesauce.
Chloe now has a whole mouthful of teeth, most molars, everything. Of course, in true Chloester fashion, she will only allow a 2 second glimpse inside so I'm not really sure what is going on in there, too dangerous to put my fingers in there anymore! We upgraded her to a toothbrush that she can hold herself. I let her try it out yesterday, put it in her mouth to get her started (sans toothpaste) but she decided it is more useful as a hairbrush!
The red hair is finally winning over Chloe's personality... tantrums are her specialty if she doesn't get what she wants. These are exhibited almost anywhere, most have emerged at the sight of a grocery cart or car seat, anything with a seat belt, or while walking and trying to steer her in the right direction, you know, like away from the street, etc. We're working thru them, trying not to give the Chloester the upper hand...
Pj is traveling a lot, leaving mom and Chloe home most of the time, we have ventured to several indoor playgrounds at the malls around columbus to stretch our legs, mingle with the other toddlers and give mom a few moments of sanity! Upon observation of some of the other moms I have learned that this whole "taking your kid to play in public thing" is quite an art, there are set times at the malls for various activites (story times, clowns, etc), everyone knows when the playgrounds are closed for cleaning and when the best times to have the place to yourself. It's crazy!
Chloe hasn't exibited interest in saying any words yet. She gabbers quite a bit and the only distinguishable "word" she repeats is "agua." We have yet to figure out what she is referring to, certainly not her sippy cup... some speculate she is saying "iowa" which is where dad spent quite a bit of time a few months ago... I think it is a far stretch!

I would say she is trying out her Spanish and saying "aqua". Is she satisfied when you respond with a drink for her? Katie, the picture of the 2 of you together is very cute. Eva says she hasn't seen you for a long time. Corbin is quite the entertainer, dancing around and practicing running forward and backwards when he sees us(his grandparents).I think he has invented a couple of new break dances. May God bless your family as you keep your eyes on Him.
